Brewers at Twins

Three bench players starting

Minneapolis - Due to injuries and the fact that Dave Bush is on the mound, the Brewers are going with three non-regulars in tonight's starting lineup for Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN.
We don't have any new update on JJ Hardy yet but him being out of the lineup was expected. Casey McGehee and Craig Counsell make up the middle infield and Mat Gamel will play his last game as DH until the team heads back out onto the road for more interleague games in Cleveland and Detroit.

Pitching matchup
MIL: RHP Dave Bush (3-0, 3.74 ERA)
Bush has been a quality-start machine this season, pitching at least six innings while allowing three or fewer earned runs in seven of his eight outings. Last year, he ranked second on the staff to Ben Sheets with 16 such starts. Bush doesn't particularly buy the notion that three runs in six innings is a quality start, but he does talk often about the importance of keeping his team in the game, and that's just what he's done, particularly in May. In his four starts this month, all quality, he's 2-0 with a 3.00 ERA.
MIN: RHP Scott Baker (1-5, 6.98 ERA)
Baker continued to struggle Tuesday against the White Sox. The right-hander couldn't get the ball down in the zone with favorable counts and too often fell behind Chicago hitters. He lasted just five innings, walking four and surrendering four runs to pick up his fifth loss of the season. Baker has allowed at least four runs in six of his seven starts this season. In four career starts against Milwaukee, he is 2-2 with a 5.62 ERA. Baker is 5-2 with a 4.61 ERA lifetime in seven Interleague starts.

Jody Gerut, acquired from the Padres via trade on Thursday, will make his first start for the Brewers in Hart's place. Gerut is playing right field and batting eighth.

I'm trying to find a reason to bet this game.

Bush going in the stopper role tonight maybe a reason?

The Brewers have won Bush's last six outings, but he is 1-4 with a 4.18 ERA in five starts against the Twins.

This inter-league stuff is upside down though.

Well I went over the 9.5

Line ups looked solid,Brewers are weak after the # 5 hitter but have the DH so can't really pitch around.

Hopefully Baker is the Baker of YTD and doesn't turn into Cy Young tonight.
