all i see today is everyone LOVES LOVES LOVES wandy rodrigues..now let me tell you something rodriguez has become a very good pitcher, but to just assume im gonna hammer him and the reeling astros, against a very good pitcher in harang, is nuts.. infact i lean the other way in this game...
yes i have heard about wandy's era and wins, and lack of run support.. yes i know he's dominated cinncy, yes i know cincy hits about .220 off lefties, yes i have heard about the astros being great day time hitters
but you need to dig deeper into the #'s , and see theres a reason the books are offering you houson at -05 (which i believe has climbed to -20)
wandy rodriguez is not new to the sharps, anyone hwos been around the bases knows this guy has been a stud for 3 years AT HOME that is.. meanwhile this guy has always been a dont start in fantasy leagues and a fade in betting when he is on the road..

also this year he has not let up more then 3 runs a game and in fact has only let up 1 run or no runs in every other game, but the 3 times he let up more then 1 run this year were his 3 lone away starts..
also it's not true that he owns cincy or that they can't hit lefties because here's his career #'s against cincy

i have not even begun to sing the aaron harang praises
while i will warn myself and backers that he has not been incredible agaisnt houston, he still has been very good going 6-2 in 9 starts vs. houston
again harang has been amazng this year in day games 2-1 and .43 era in those starts
but his career #'s tell a different story in may and day and those #'s have not been as great.. i dont think this is a 5k game like flava has posted nor a 7 star game like venom has (i say both of them because they afre 2 threads i and many others read, and i use some of their insight into my own..)
at end of day i jsut feel that concy is a better team this eyar period, votto will play today and im not one to favor a better oitcher im one to favor a hotter bat.. and right now cincy bats are alot more formidable then houstons have been
