Mike Tyson's Daughter Found Hanging From Cord

Mike Tyson's 4-year-old daughter is on life support and in very critical condition after her brother found her hanging Monday morning from a treadmill cord in their Phoenix home, police said.

While the girl's mother was cleaning in the house, Tyson's daughter was playing separately in a playroom.

The mother sent the girl's 7-year-old brother to look for the 4-year-old girl. The boy found his sister in distress and got his mother, police said.

The mother found her daughter on a treadmill with her neck on what was described as a cable attached to the treadmill, police said.

She took her daughter off the cable, called 911, and began CPR.

The girl was take to St. Joe's Hospital after she was found around 10:30 a.m local time, MyFOXPhoenix.com reported.

Tyson was not home at the time.

Initial reports indicate it was, a "tragic accident," police said.

Something similar happened to an ex-girlfriend of mine. Her son ended up getting a cord tied around his neck and couldn't get it loose. He was found dead with his baby sister crawling on him.

Same thing here as well. My friend's 5 y.o brother was playing "Spiderman" Trying to swing from a cord attached to the blinds and strangled himself.. To this day 25 years later(I have young kids) i am still obsessive Compulsive with making sure those cords are shortened and cut.

Just a terrible thing....

I hope Mike is able to stay on a even keel and not go off the deep end. It was starting to look like he was getting his life straight. Maybe God will intervene and save this little girl.

Tyson has what a half dozen confirmed children and probably another half dozen children floating out there unofficially. I don't think he would spiral out of control over this. It would depress him yes just like any one of us but these celebrity types that wed and bed and have multiple children are nothing more than sperm donors.

Look at Doctor Julius Erving for example he had that one daughter with that sports writer that ended up being a professional tennis player and some reporter dug into her story and found out she was Dr. J's. bastard. Then he had that one son who got coked up and drove his car into a pond and killed himself. I guess one could say the less time you spend with your kids the less time the will miss you when you are gone and vice versa.

With that said my prayers go out to the family of Mike Tyson. I hope his little girl is able to recover. Very sad news.

i just seen the movie "Tyson" and it had a clip of him in a play boxing match with her. He will be devastated for sure.

He is for sure a changed man, his story was sad, but had to follow with the narative he gave. But still worth a see.

He was a fucking bad mofo, and if he'd prepared himself for the fights he lost, well...

A rep for the Phoenix Police Department has just released the following statement regarding Mike Tyson's 4-year-old daughter:

I was just advised by investigators that Exodus Tyson was pronounced deceased at 11:45 AM today at the hospital. Our sympathies go out to the family.

Paramedics were called to Tyson's Phoenix home at around 10:30 this morning when his 7-year-old son found the young girl hanging from a treadmill by its power cable.

Tyson's reps had no comment at this time.

Terrible ending here, absolutely heartbreaking.

And to say Tyson won't be "spiral out of control" is nonsense. His daughter was full of life and now will never get to experience that life due to a tragic accident.
