Been making picks last couple of weeks using the following criteria.
1. WHIP for season
2. WHIP last 3 starts
3.WHIP vs opponent 2008-09 (all info is available on covers)
Eliminate games where pitcher doesn't have at least 3 starts.I simply take the average of the 3 WHIPS(2 in cases where pitcher hasn't faced opponent before).Take the 3 games with the largest difference in WHIPS and bet moneyline -140 or less and runline on anything over 140.Will post these for a couple of weeks and if they do well I will continue.

Today
LAA -1.5 +118 100-118
Minn +102 100-102
St Louis -111 111-100

Not saying Minn. isn't the right side, but that most likely popped up as a play because Lester hasn't been too sharp to start the season and his current WHIP is not good. He looked better his last start even though he still allowed many base runners. I think it's more likely than not that Lester will improve his WHIP and other numbers as the season progresses. Anyway, I'd be a little more cautious with that one.
