Wow another losing day. You would think i would listen to my own advise and stop changing the units up. Everytime i do i lose. But I'm going to give it another go today at picking all the games. I've lost a lot of profit since i started posting. Maybe i should stop.

6-star
Nationals-Mets Preview
For the first time on this board I am giving my guarantee pick of the day. Johan Santana is on pace to chase another Cy Young and nobody has been able to slow him down accept for the Mets offense. Gary Sheffield is filling in nicely for Delgado. New York has won 10 of the last 13 meetings with the Nationals, including five of six at home. Santana has won all four of his starts against the Nationals with a 2.33 ERA and 28 strikeouts in 27 innings. The Nationals own the worst record in baseball, are have managed only 3 wins in their last 17 games. The Mets are a massive favorite tonight and are my guarantee pick of the day.
DECISION: ****** Mets (10 units) ML to win 4.55

5 Star
Pirates-Cubs Preview
The Cubs are favored tonight despite their current hitting woes. Zambrano has not lost to the Pirates since July, 8 2007. Pittsburgh is only 5-10 on the road this year and there is not a single cell in my body that sees them staying with the Cubs tonight. Zach Duke is 0-5 with a 4.58 ERA in his last nine starts against Chicago with Pittsburgh winning only twice in that span. He last defeated the Cubs on May 2, 2006, when he threw a five-hitter in an 8-0 win at Wrigley. Duke has not beat the Cubs in 3 years and he is not going to do it at Wrigley.
DECISION: ***** Cubs (5 units) RUN LINE to win 6.5

Dodgers-Rockies Preview
The Dodgers are 7-1 against the Rockies this year, outscoring them 66-37 during those 8 games. Colorado is the favorite which can be attributed to Kershaw’s season high 9 ER’s against them earlier this season. The Rockies are 4-8 on the year as the favorite team and 6-8 at home. The Dodgers will continue to bring runs in all night in the walk in humidor that is Mile-High.
DECISION: ***** Dodgers (5 units) ML to win 6.05

4 star
Cardinals-Brewers Preview
The Cardinals have lost 11 of their past 12 against the Brewers. Ryan Braun has been a huge reason for that and he has been ailing with the injury after being hit by a pitch on the hand. Braun is hitting .427 with 8 homers, 8 doubles and 20 RBIs in his last 22 games against St. Louis, but the Brewers were having trouble at the plate prior to this series. They're averaging 2.0 runs over their last five games, losing four. Ricky Weeks is out for the season and JJ Hardy has missed the past 4 games and is questionable for tonight’s game, leaving a major hole in the middle infield, let alone the lineup. The Brewers are favored in this one, with a dismal and ailing lineup, and the Cardinals are 8-4 as underdogs this season. Wellemeyer is coming off a 6 inning shut out win against the Kansas City, while Manny Parra is coming off a 3.1 inning 8 earned run loss against the Twins.
DECISION: **** Cardinals RL (3 units) to win 5.04

Blue Jays-Orioles Preview
It is no secret the Jays have lost 8 straight games but with the talent they have on the mound tonight I truly see this streak ending. Roy Halladay, 2003 AL Cy Young Award winner improved to 19-4 with a 2.88 ERA against the Orioles on May 1 allowing three earned and 10 hits over eight innings of an 8-4 victory. Meanwhile The Orioles have not won 3 straight games all season and I don’t see any reason to believe that will change tonight. The Blue Jays are 18-7 this year as the favorite.
DECISION: **** Toronto (3 units) to win 2

Tigers-Royals Preview
Rick Porcello takes the mound tonight looking for his 5th straight win. The young gun is really starting to live up to the massive hype that followed him through the minors. A win tonight would make Porcello the first player 20 years old or younger to win five consecutive starts since Dwight Gooden in 1985 with the Mets (which is not bad company to have). Kansas City has lost its past 5 series and I don’t see that changing with Davies on the mound. He has lost his last 4 starts against the Tigers giving up 19 runs in 20 innings. He allowed seven runs over 5 1-3 innings of a 9-1 loss April 25 to fall to 1-5 with a 5.68 ERA in his career against Detroit.
DECISION: **** Tigers (3 units) to win 2.609

3-star

Tampa Bay Rays *** ML (2 units) to win 1.852
