Don't really care for Leno at all.

I do watch him every Monday Night for 10 minutes and his Headline News. Very funny.

huge mistake giving conan the show.. he is just not funny.

I am a big Carolla/Kimmel fan and they say Jay is a great down to earth guy and Dave is a douchebag. FWIW

classy move last night closing the show showing all the kids that had been born to staff members during his 17 years.

I agree. Conan is going to bomb as host of the Tonight Show.

Tonight show is geared towards an older crowd, while Conan to me is geared to the Under 40 crowd.

That's the impression I always got. Reason why I watched Leno instead of Letterman. Letterman is funnier but Leno seems more real and genuine.

Yeah but the younger crowd is pushing 40 now that Conan has been on the air so long. I liked it when I was a kid, I like it now at 31. Conan might possibly be the funniest motherfucker to ever be on Tv.

Will somebody help me understand this move? Leno is going to have the same 1 hour show but just later at night? Just so Conan can be on earlier? Is there something more to the move that I am missing?

That's what I am wondering. I really don't get it.

I get the feeling it's not a 5 day a week show. How can it possibly be?!

There moving Leno to prime time he will be on 10pm-11 pm eastern time Mon-Fri starting in September the first prime talk show on a major network.

Leno is going earlier. It's going to be like a variety show. i don't think a typical talk show. he said he'll go back to his roots and do more stand up in the show.

I think Conan will do well. I think he's hilarious.
