Boston at Detroit
Porcello, who is 6-3 on the year with a sub 3.48 ERA, will take on the Red Sox in a pretty big game for the rookie righty. He will face a bigtime lineup after going 5-0 with a 1.50 ERA in five starts last month. The Tigers are 11-5 in their last 16 overall and are 38-18 in their last 56 games as a favorite of -110 to -150. Meanwhile, Dice-K will go for the Red Sox and has really struggled this year. He has been on and off the DL once already and the WBC really put some wear and tear on his arm.He has lost in his last 3 starts while he has posted a 9.82 ERA and a 2.36 WHIP. Boston is now just 12-16 on the road and the Tigers are 15-7 at home.
The Tigers are solid bet. Rick Porcello has been excellent for the Tigers. In his last 3 starts, Porcello is 3-0 with a 2.00 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP.
Big play on those Tigers

others plays that i feel will bring a profit if any of you are interested.
LA Angels at Toronto
It’s hard to pick against Halladay, especially since he is due.The Angels are coming out of a funk, while the Blue Jays I think are still in their funk.
The Blue Jays are just 2-10 in their last 12 games. However, the Jays are 8-3 behind Roy Halladay (8-1, 2.63 ERA) and they’ve won six of their last seven at home. Halladay is 7-5 with a 4.35 ERA in 15 career outings versus the Halos, including a May 6 win at Anaheim in which he allowed one run in eight innings.
The Angels have lost 15 of their last 22 at Toronto.
The under also trends as a strong play when these two foes battle, cashing in at a rate of 40-13-5 overall in the last 58 games (22-5-3 in Toronto). The under is also 4-0-1 in Halladay’s last five starts against the Jays.
Halladay throws another gem,& I see a possible low scoring game.
(More on Roy Hallady):
Is it a surprise he is on this list yet again? He has a 1.10 whip and a 1.71 ERA in his last three outings! However, the Blue Jays are only 1-2 in these games. His last outing he left with an 8-3 lead after pitching 7 strong innings. The Blue Jays collapsed and lost 12-10 in 11 innings.
Halladay has owned the Angels in his career posting a 2.43 ERA from 2006-2009 with a 3-1 record in 40.2IP. He pitched against them on 5/6 and went 8 strong innings on the road giving up just 6 hits, 1 ER and 2 BB.
Halladay has however pitched better on the road this year, but look for him to be a little more frustrated in this one after pitching well enough to win both of his last match ups and his team losing.
I'm liking the "under" 8 in this game.
Cleveland at Minnesota
(Baseball Trend) The Minnesota Twins are 13-1 after scoring four runs or less five straight games over the last three seasons.
The Tribe have lost seven of their last eight visits.
Minnesota has won eight of its last 10 at the Metrodome and tonight’s starter, Kevin Slowey, is 6-0 with a 4.64 ERA in seven home outings this season.Slowey has been really solid here in his last 3 starts and his ERA has dropped to 4.11 on the season. In the last 3 starts he has a 2-0 record a 1.05whip and a 2.57 ERA.
His last outing was 6IP 2 ER vs. a solid opponent in Boston at home. He has a start vs. the Indians this year where he went 8IP 8H 1ER and 7 SO with 0BB’s.
While Cleveland’s David Huff had a fine outing the last time he took the mound, all signs in this matchup point to an emphatic Twins win.
Minnesota has won eight of its last 10 at the Metrodome and are a perfect 7-0 in Slowey’s last 7 home starts with the total set at 9.0-10.5
Minnesota has also recorded a spotless 4-0 mark in Slowey’s last 4 starts versus American League Central ballclubs while also posting a perfect 5-0 record in Slowey’s last five starts when their opponent scores two runs or less in their previous game.
While the Indians are a solid 4-1 in their last five games against a right-handed starter, they will also be facing a pitcher in Kevin Slowey that is on fire and is looking to win his third consecutive start and fourth straight decision overall while simultaneously trying to become just the third pitcher in the majors with eight wins.
Slowey is 6-0 with a 4.64 ERA in seven home starts while getting an average of 10.1 runs of support each time out.
Lovin the Twinkies in this spot.
