I am glad I played 1st 5 innings, but did not expect a game like this.

I tend to agree...but the Giants don't exactly have the best bats in the game...I like giving them more than 5 innings to score a few, I guess it backfired on me tonight

Have to agree with the other guys. I hardly ever play 9 innings anymore because bullpens are so awful. And I love playing 5 innings if there is an 'ace' on the hill (i.e. Halladay, Greinke, etc.). Having said that, I think the Giants 1st 5 got fairly lucky tonight. They were down going into the 5th, but managed to put up 3 in that inning. A win is a win though...

wow that was terrible. thats a good idea, playing the 1st 5, cos the pens are just unreliable, ive been fucked over by them i dont know how many times in the 8th and 9th.

ya not a bad idea except i played santana a couple times 1st 5 this year and lost both times they were down 1-0

Might not have worked last night, but if you're going to bet against the Nats I'd steer clear of the 1st 5. I'm pretty sure the bullpen W-L record is much worse than starting pitching W-L record.
