Is this total a trap?

I mean come on ...
Baker (2-6, 6.32 ERA) vs. Carmona (2-5, 6.60 ERA)
Line set: Over 9.5

It should be more like Over 14 because these pitchers straight suck.
This looks to obvious to take the over.
I want to make this a POD but I am a little nervous.

What do you all think?

Vegas is begging you to take over.

This here is your prototypical get away day trap game.

Avoid total at all costs.

might have to do with that Baker is 4.50 ERA over last 30 days (still not awesome, but better than 6.32) and chances are the Twins won't be able to hit Carmona either way for their bats are currently quite cold with only 14 runs over the last 7 days.

1. The Indians don't have a leadoff hitter.....Sizemore and Cabrera are out

2. Twins are batting .143 (6 for 42) with runners in scoring position in past 7 games

In 8 games this year when the o/u has been 10 or 10.5 based on Statfox's numbers 6-1-1 for the under. Of the 8 times an o/u has been 10 or more for a Twins game, 7 were away from Home. The 9.5 is about as high as you'll see for a Twins home game. In home games this year, the over has a small edge 18-14.

Cleveland missing Sizemore ,A. Cabrera, and Hafner(who owns Baker) . Twins missing Cuddyer. A day game after a night game with both teams heading into a road series on Friday. Seems to me someone already knows a couple more bats are getting the day off today.

About an hour before game Yahoo lists the starting line ups in the box score. I bet that one of the M & M boys sits today, along with maybe DeRosa,V-Mart,Choo, or Francisco for Cle.

Sizemore hasn't been hitting all season. Hafner hasn't picked up a bat since April. That isn't really news pertaining to this game only.
