it's going for $60,000 but is any idiot willing to pay that much for a ticket? Even if I was a billionaire, I don't think I'd pay $60K for one courtside seat.

I remember last year in the finals Phil Ivey was in the front row and it looked like he was going to beat the ref up because he had so much money on the Lakers and they didn't cover.... That is way off topic but I would think people would pay up to 30k but not 60k.

why not. courtside seats are the best seats in sports. right down on the court with the players, get the remium seats and any food/drink you want.

for the price, you get the most out of it then any other high priced tickets in any other sports.

why not ?

cause no sporting event is worth 60 grand...

for 60 grand , i better be inside the ropes at augusta 3 feet from every shot tiger hits for all 4 rounds. and then get to play the course the entire next week.

what im saying though is the courtside seats are the best possible seats you can get that i would be willing to pay the mostmoney for because like i said, your right down on the court.

you get free food, your own private parking lot, concierge, and other amentities. they treatyou like a king if you sit down there, and your right on the court, instead of way up in a suite.

and i agree 60k is too much. they regularly go for about 2200, which I would pay.

know all about it.. was fortunate enough to sit courtside at a sixers / celtics game in philly back in 1991 . my feet were on the court.

the players had to walk by me to check in.

it is awesome...

didnt cost me anything. i was a club pro in philly at a big league private golf club from 89-92 .

one of my members was one of the top heart surgeons in the world.

he had 4 courtside seats . i think the stub said $ 150 bucks . so he paid 600 a game x 41 games = about 25 grand a year for hoop tickets.

seems cheap nowadays..

all the players knew him and came over to say hello..

for about 2.5 hours i really felt like i was somebody... i even talked to referree darrell garretson (sp. ) during the game while someone was shooting free throws.

i asked him " where you headed next ? " he said " milwaukee , i hate that fucking place " .

that's ridiculous. And i've always thought it was crazy when i've seen tickets for Millionaires Row at Churchill for Derby being offered for $20-25,000.

yea id love to get the opportunity to sit courtside at a game.

minnesota t-wolves courtside tickets right next to the benches cost 70,000 for the year, and 1,700 per game, and were one of the worst teams.

you can get ones across the bench courtside for 800 a game which would be great to, as long as im on the court.

i dont got no 800 to dish out for a ticket though heh.

it was a treat...

manute bol almost tripped over my feet when he went to check into the game..

manute was actually inbounding the ball one time directly in front of me . kevin mchale was guarding him .

bol goes to throw the ball down court and it hits mchale in the wrist and bounces about 15 rows up . hit him hard...

mchale yells " god damn it manute , what the hell did you do that for ? "
