2-3 last night dropping 1.45 units and putting be at over ten units in the hole. Lost my only parlay, split my two favs and split my two dogs. I just cannot put together a winning streak this year so far, but I will.
Missed all the day games. Here is what is left that I like.
Mets -113 vs Washington……..I know the Mets are not playing well and they are banged up. A banged up, poorly playing Mets team is still better than a healthy, good playing Nats team. Sure it could lose, but I will take my chances. Maine 7-2 career vs Nats as well, so this has a great shot at winning.
Angels +137 vs Detroit……………..Detroit a tough team to figure out. They are talented but don’t always show it. Tigers have the pitching advantage in this one, but Escobar has never lost to Detroit as he is 7-0 vs them, so I am not going to pass those stats up especially when I can get him as a dog.
St Louis -126 vs Colorado………..Lost with the Cards last night, but coming right back with them tonight. I know this line is fishy, but Cook is 0-4 vs Cards while Wellemeyer is 3-0 vs Rockies. Again some stats I cannot pass up. If the Cards were a big fav I would probably lay off this one but will grab it at a low price.
Houston -1.5 (+135) vs Pittsburgh…………Astros playing well and Oswalt usually saves his best for Pittsburgh. I don’t think this one will be close. Pirates usually a poor road club.
Milwaukee +161 vs Atlanta…………I don’t know how the Braves are this big a favorite. There is just too much value with the Brewcrew at +161.
That will do it for Saturday night. I am off work Sunday so I will be back before noon with all my plays.
