I've noticed a lot of ppl here have systems, which is definately a very good thing. My only problem is when a particular system loses, most come up with "new systems", which isn't a bad thing at all as I have done the same thing.

My problem is this. Seems when most have a "new system" they never post the record from the old systems. It's like the units lost are to be forgotten. I just feel this is kind of misleading as anyone who is following has the right to know the "overall record" for the season. Yet I don't see that. People go on a nice run for a week or two, post their record and units won, then when they lose, they come up with a "new system" and the negative units from the previous system are never heard about.

I see some who are, for example, this is fictional for demonstration, 7-1 with new system, and that's the only record posted. These ppl do not post, "I was 3-10 with my last system, down x units". Even though some may be down a bunch for the year, they never post it.

Just wanted to vent as I find this to be misleading and here we are in June, I still see some with YTD Records of 8-1 or whatever. What happend to your first two months of the season plays?

Amen brother!! There was one offender I noticed in particular. Every other day the system changed and then the system record was based not on the actual plays , but on the post result tweaked system. Very misleading. :>(

A record needs to be kept for each system. Each system is independent of another.

I understand that. But the YTD overall record should be disclosed as well. This lets ppl know how well someone does at developing different systems. If someone has three systems that fail, that record should be noted so someone doesn't follow blindly. But as louisville kid said, nobody wants ppl to know if they lost in the past, and I believe that is the only motivation for not posting past losing records.

And I'm wondering if you are saying that to set up the fact that you have yet another system in the works since your new "new system" has been cooling off and I'm sure that record will just disappear somewhere and you will once again start over until you have a winning record.
