Liked Tony until he had to move to the end of the line is a backup.Says hes confident and God knows we've seen him wreck primaries and still shine in his backup but its just too much of a variable for me,even tho it looked good in practice. In fact a car that has been sent to the back has won 3 times this year already but twice that was for engine changes, which IMO is a different animal than backup cars.So still a no for me.

Today I like two pretty obvious picks: (1/2 on the practice chart)

Hamlin +550 to win
He runs well at Pocono.Been in drought lately and I think this is a spot where he can put one up.Quick in practice.

Newman +425 top 3
5 top 10s in his last 5 races,4 top 5's its fair to say hes on a roll and looks like hes running well this weekend.

And Jeff Burton over Reutimann (-120)....its a little chalky and I cant quite figure it out why its not more. Not going to overthink it.Yeah Reutimanns running better this year but his track record isnt very stellar at Pocono-3 of 4 starts hes finished 30+.His win boosts his avg finish numbers for recent races ,maybe thats why hes not a big dog,I dont know.Burton has been consistantly mediocre recently but his record here isnt total dogpoop.

1 unit ea.
