I think they avoid the sweep here. Dodgers are having an extremely difficult time hitting the ball lately. I haven't run the numbers but they are one of the worst hitting teams in baseball in the last 7 games. They have gotten beyond lucky to beat the Phillies these past two games, and I just don't think it's gonna happen tonight.

Obviously not entire comfortable throwing a big bet down on a rookie with very limited experience in the bigs but I see the Phils giving him some good run support tonight. Randy Wolf not the most comforting guy to bet against either.

I have one unit on it already but I'm considering upping it to my first three unit play of the year. If all the circumstances were the same, and we had yesterday's pitchers... it'd be a three unit play for sure but I'm feeling a bit hesitant to up it here. What you guys think?

dodgers .292 against lefties, phillies hitting .260 against lefties...just a small stat that shows a slight dodger advantage. not to mention, wolf is a great pitcher. will wait to see how the lines change later to determine my play though. good luck

yeah bro, I feel you. Hard to pull the trigger large on this one, that's for certain. Maybe the under is a good play too?

as it stands right now, the way the lines are moving shows the dodgers may be the play. however, too early to tell based on that. with a gun to my head i'd say dodgers...that's just me though

what about the line movement indicates LAD is the play zip? I'm not terribly good at figuring out how line movements dictate the correct play

Is Broxton out too? That's huge if he is. Lidge I can understand being out.

thanks for saying it not like a complete douche bag like the other guy. thought it was three game set. definitely important aspect of tonight's game that Phils aren't trying to avoid the sweep

yamar, discredit what i said earlier about the dodgers looking like the play based on line movement...thus far, it is the phillies. will be waiting to clarify further until closer to gametime..

according to line movement (nothing else) the play looks like the phillies and looks to be getting a little stronger as it draws nearer to first pitch.

Five O;clock start means glare and or shadows.

First 5 under worked in S.F. a few weeks back.

Rookie should do well first time through the order?
