I thought this game would open around a pick, so needless to say I was happy to jump on a pitcher who has a 2.26 ERA and a WHIP of only 1.0MARINERS +115 (Vargas)I don't understand how the O's can be favored here after dropping 5 straight games. Not to mention that Bergensen has a 4.64 ERA and Vargas has a 2.17ERA. I hate betting on the M's on the road but they are showing signs of life by winning their last 2 games.ROCKIES +125 (Hammel)Hammel has been lights out on the road, posting a tiny 2.16 ERA. The Rocks have also won 5 straight and they have been hitting well of late. As for the Brew Crew, I wouldn't put too much trust in Looper, even at home. Looper's ERA is 4.65
