Jordan Zimmermann was scratched from his scheduled Tuesday evening start due to slight elbow soreness.
Ross Detwiler got the nod instead. Zimmermann woke up with a bit of soreness in his throwing elbow after a routine side session Friday. It didn't clear up over the weekend, so the Nationals decided to give him a couple of extra days. He's now scheduled to pitch Saturday against the Rays
