good, Fuck the Yankees, their GM's act like this is fantasy league or something and just try to buy everyone else out. I love it when I see them overpay for players and not get their money's worth.

exactly, everyone kind of fell off once they signed with the Yankees, the only exception is A-rod.
Mussina was a big signing, kind of fell off, BUrnett was a bad signing to begin with, Sabathia has fallen off slightly, Giambi fell off, Damon fell off, the list goes on and on.
These guys didn't go to shit, but they didn't produce at the level they were producing at prior to becoming yankees.

Pass judgement on AJ after 32 starts, not 10 or so.
Thank you.

Mussina was a big signing, kind of fell off.

Moose was a big signing.

Never had a losing season in 8 Yankee seasons.

He won double digit games in each and every season hit pitched here, 15 plus games 5 out of those 8 seasons, 17 plus games 4 out of 8 seasons, and twenty games once.

Moose made *every* start 5 out of those 8 seasons, and missed a *total* of 12 starts in those 8 seasons.

His ratio and ERA was significantly lower than the league in those 8 years.

He helped the Yankees greatly getting into the postseason, but it takes more than 1 starter to bring home the rings.

Moose earned every penny and then some of his contract.

A.J really stunk out the Stadium this afternoon with that scoreless, 4 hit, seven inning effort of his today.

Hoooold up....this was against the struggling Mets...lets wait to see what he does against Boston. @)

OK, let's.

But the point of me bumping up the thread was to reinforce my previous post of, "let's look at his entire 32 start season, not just his first ten starts"

He isn't going to post 4 hit shutouts all the time, but he's not going to get knocked out in the fifth inning all the time either.
