I am really loving today's card.
P.O.D- Justin Verlander is looking like him oldself, and is one of the hottest pitchers in baseball right now. However, he has not pitched too well on the road. His track record at Cellular field is not t hat great throughout his career he is an astonishing 0-6. Danks, who throws for the Sox tonight started off very hott but has struggled as of late. His ERA is up to 5.10 and has been forced to throw alot of pitches early his last few starts. I really think an 8.5 run total is way to small to pass up. This one's headed over!!!
4.5 units- ChW/Det Over 8.5 (-110)
The Philidelphia Phillies have arguably the best Lefty lineup in all of baseball. Yesterday the Phils faced one of the best Lefty pitchers in the game @ Citi Field, and still managed to put up 5 runs. Mike Pelfrey is a righty, and doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Johan Santana. He recently lasted 3 and a third against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Phils O is much more powerful than Pirates. The Phils bullpen concerns me some bit which is why I am passing them. I am however pouncing on the team total because I think they will make Pelfrey look like a fool at home early.
3 units- Phils Over 4.5 runs (-120)
Jorge De La Rosa is a JOKE and should not be pitching in the Major Leagues. The Rockies are hott, but there's still some ice caps somewhere in those Mountains.
