Detroit at W/Sox

The Tigers have won two of the first three games of the current series against the White Sox Thnx to Cabrera’s game winning homer last night. Justin Verlander will take the mound tonight and look to improve on his already stellar season. He is 6-2 with a 3.26 ERA. While Verlander has struggled with his ERA on the road at 4.15, he faces a very one dimensional line up that is very strikeout heavy.
The White Sox pitching has been below average overall as well. John Danks take the mound with his 4-4 record and 5.10 ERA.He is coming off a start in which a depleted Cleveland Indians team roughed him up for five runs in 5.2 innings of work. Danks has a 5.70 ERA against right handed hitters. Cabrera, Inge and Magglio all hit from the right side. Uh Oh, trouble in Chi Town tonight looks imminent.

The Tigers are 16-5 in the last 21 games as the favorite. The White Sox are 2-7 in their last nine home games.. The White Sox are 9-3 against Detroit in Chicago over the past 12 starts. Tonight, that wont matter a bit. Detroit looks sharp and The White Sox do not. The Tigers have a versatile line up while Chicago is strikeout heavy.

Theres plenty of gas left in the Tigers tank so look for the ace of staff to have a dominating performance.

Cubs at Astros

The Cubs, visiting Houston, are 7-2 behind Carlos Zambrano this year.

The Astros’ Wandy Rodriguez has lost his last three starts, allowing 18 runs --- 12 earned --- in just 13.2 innings.

Wandy Rodriguez is 0-3 with a 7.90 ERA his last three starts. Cubs ace Carlos Zambrano (4-2) has a 2.04 ERA his last three starts, fanning 20 in 17 innings.

Zambrano won 9 of his last 10 road starts. He's also 10-3 in his MLB career in games in Houston and 5-1 in his last six starts on Wednesdays.

My Cubs *** in this spot baby.

Royals at Indians

The Royals, hosting Cleveland, have lost 22 of their last 27 games, including 10 of the last 11. K.C. has also lost eight of its last nine backing Gil Meche.

Indians starter Carl Pavano is 6-1 with a 3.00 ERA in his last eight starts.
