Okay ... yes, I understand Pineiro has struggled lately, BUT even as ESPN has pointed out "The right-hander has received only four total runs of support during his current losing streak, in which he's recorded a 5.63 ERA. That slide is also part of a seven-game stretch that has seen him go 1-6 despite a 4.09 ERA while the offense produced 10 total runs."
... it seems like the bats have started to come alive again for the Cards and what better way to happen against rookie David Huff (8.71 ERA).
I see the Cards bats working again today and giving Pineiro plenty of runs to work with this time around. I also like the over.
**** This will not be a large "if you like money" play like usual. I like this game, but to be honest, nothing on the schedule looks great today to choose from.
