Pettitte's got absolutely nothing today. You could tell that was the case in the first inning.

I'm calling it now... this game gets VERY ugly, very quickly. I doubt Pettitte gets past the 4th. I'm gonna say he gives up 6 or 7 in 3 1/3.

Yankee stadium is a home run factory. Arod pop fly goes into the 1st row.

I think this game will be a prime example of a manager leaving a starting pitcher in too long. Everyone in the stadium knows Pettitte has nothing today, but Girardi won't want to "waste" his bullpen, so he'll leave Pettitte out there, hoping that he can somehow magically turn it around.

The irony of that is that 9 times out of 10 the starter ends up getting shelled, so they have to be taken out of the game early anyway. Instead of yanking him early when it's still a fairly close game, he'll probably get yanked early when it's a blowout.

I could be wrong, but these types of games usually play out that way. We'll see...

I have to reload on Monday because of the Red Wings last night but i had $10 left so i put it on the biggest underdog today. I have the Mets $10 to win $18.50 but i really don't like it. If i win i'll put it all on Orlando tomorrow night. Who knows, i might build something big here, lol.

You're in good shape. As long as the Mets get to Pettitte, which they should, they should win the game. I'm sure Nieve will give up a few runs, but he's pitching a lot better than Pettitte is. And the Mets have a huge advantage in the bullpen department.

That should do it. It took longer than I thought, but Pettitte completely implodes in the 5th. This loss is on Girardi though. He left Pettitte out there when he had nothing.
