I was say Ariz State has a more explosive offense.. they are hitting .307 as a team with 72 homeruns.. Texas is hitting .287 with 40 homeruns.

Texas wins alot of games with small ball. Hit and runs, steals, sacrifices, etc... I think that ASU's pitching will counter this.

I like ASU in this spot

I'm really looking forward to this game, this should be a fantastic matchup. Neither team has a ton of power, but both have excellent fundamentals. I believe ASU has the top pitching staff in the NCAA (ERA-wise), and even if Leake gets into a bit of trouble, they have an excellent bullpen. The only thing that makes me a little nervous about Texas is they lack a bonafied stud (though Ruffin is pretty darn good) and Wood looked human against USM. However, Ruffin does a great job of pitching to contact and Texas probably has the best IF in the country. If your looking for a wager, I'd go U 10.5

Pretty much cant say it better than that.. I like UT, but they dont have that UT swagger of the last few years.. They are a great team but they just dont stand out in any one category..

ASU on the otherhand, stands out in a few categories.. The pitching staff is the best in the country and they have been swinging the bat pretty well.. I think it will be a GREAT game, but I have to give the edge to ASU.

If both starters can throw 6+, the UNDER looks promising, but you have seen what bullpens can do to starting pitchers ( UNC and Southern Miss ) so I would put a SMALL wager on either ASU or the UNDER and sit back and enjoy. This may be one of the better matchups we will see until LSU plays ASU in the Final
