No its not strange....Guzman wont hit a HR, Johnson probably wont play and if he does...he wont get a hit batting lefty against CC...and Zimmerman and Dunn are the only hopes. Where as Damon will get walked, get moved over and Arod or Tex (both lefties) will bring him home.

the strange part about it is not with the yanks but with nats.. i mean the line is -365 at 5dimes right now but they are telling you...we know the nats suck,we know CC is pitching and we know how BAD martis is vs lefties. im calling bullshit on this line and saying the nats are the play.

yeah it is strange, even with lines as "low" as -200 you'll see the road team at even money in this situation. I would play nats too.

Most games its -140 for the away team and +105 or even money for the home team. Its usually a 30-40 cent difference. So with the home team being -180....+140 its the correct juice. But in all actuality...it doesnt matter who scores first, what matters is that Martis has his hands full with a bunch of lefties in the best hitter's park in the Majors against a 550+ HR hitter, and a ton of other All-Stars. Who cares who scores first...they wont win. And if you really want to take the Nats on that prop then also play the "team who scores first will win the game" and take NO for more + money action. Should be around +150 and up

Also the Yanks are -165 and -180 at my 2 books. That is insane espscially with the Nats going first. How "high" or "low" do you want the plus money for the Nats to be. Im starting to get confused at all of this. So you're telling me if the Nats were +160 which would make the Yanks -200 you would take the Yanks knowing the Nats bat first and have the advantage (of going first)? What would concern me is if the Yanks were only -140 and the Nats were even money then I'll would be wondering why the Yanks were so low....not the other way around. This prop has nothing to do with the Nats the odds are set. Its the people who bet it that moves the line. Thus the disparity at my 2 books.

well one would figure the +money would be higher on the nats to get some action on it considering CC is pitching and its likely martis(considering his stats)gets his ass blown up in the bottom of the inning.

That is true.....but one thing has caught my attention is my book has the "team that scores first wins" prop up for every game except the Yanks game. The closest game in odds is the Phillies and the NO bet is at +150 (and their -140 to score first in the game)...that would make the Yanks NO around +190 (-240 for YES).

The book not having that up is making me want to play the Nats first to score now. They must think that the Nats have a shot and are scared to get pummeled on the other bet which I would play also as a "2 for 1" in theory.
