Dodgers best in the league vs lefties, while Oakland is one of the worst against lefties. Kershaw is also much better pitcher at home, and pitchers with his stuff really give this light hitting Oakland lineup trouble. A's haven't had more then 7 hits in 9 games and just got swept by rival SF, while LA comes home after winning 2 of 3 at Texas

Kershaw is a gascan that struggles to keep his pitch count down. He had 83 pitches in less than 3 innings his last outing.

not only that, the A's are 1-5 in interleague play against the NL this year and their offense has cooled down as of late. Kershaw is still young and can be inconsistent at time but he's been pretty solid at home this season. Whatever you do decide to go with, good luck.

Kershaw is anything, but a gas can. He has had some rough outing this year (mostly on the road),but also some brilliant ones. This kid will be a stud for years to come. By no means a gas can

Nonetheless, right now it is an edge of seat game. A's pitching has been great thus far. Need the Dodgers to win though.

Not sure what Torre's explanation will be leaving Kershaw in to bat with bases loaded and two outs after Kershaw had thrown 92 pitches.
