Tampa Bay +1.05 over COLORADO http://www.pinnaclesports.com/?refer=xspwagers
The Rays came in here last night and cooled off the red-hot Rockies before the game was two innings old. They hit everything in sight and the leagues top run-producing team didn’t let up. They beat the Rockies 12-4. Jason Bartlett returned to the line-up and all he did was go 2-4 with one RBI and two runs scored. Zobrist is on fire, as is a bunch of other guys and there’s no denying that this is the most dangerous offense in the league. Tonight they’ll send out David Price who is living up to his billing with flying colors. In three starts covering 19 innings, Price has allowed 13 hits and five earned runs for an impressive 2.37 ERA. He’s also struck out 26 batters. The league is hitting just .188 off him. The only concern is the number of walks he’s issuing and that could hurt him at this park. However, he can blow it by folks and as long as he can keep the walks to a minimum, he’ll be fine, especially with the offense behind him. Aaron Cook relies on a sinkerball and it’s been sinking big time lately. However, all of his last three starts have been on the road and he’s also had one of the easier schedules in the league. Cook is about to find out that he’s not facing the Padres, Pirates, Braves, Astros or Cardinals. The last time he faced the Rays they ripped him a new one and in fact, over two career starts against them, he’s 0-1 with a 8.25 ERA after allowing 18 hits and 11 runs in 12 innings of work. Best bet on the board today. Play Tampa Bay +1.05 (Risking 2 units).

Seattle +1.15 over SAN DIEGO http://www.pinnaclesports.com/?refer=xspwagers
The AL showed its supremacy again last night, going 9-4 and the Mariners were among the winners. The Padres are one of the riskiest and unappealing favorites because they’re a bad baseball team laying juice, not to mention they’ve lost four straight. The Padres have been shutout two games in a row and have scored one big run over its last three games. Chad Gaudin has walked 31 batters in 49 innings, his ERA is 6.16 and he has two wins in nine starts. So, what we have here is a team that can’t score, can’t win and that has lost 12 straight games to the American League and six consecutive to the Mariners. You do the math. Play: Seattle +1.15 (Risking 2 units).

Love the picks Sherwood. Colorado's big streak came to an end and I don't see them starting a new one tonight. Seattle over the fading Padres looks like a gimme. Both picks at plus odds? Great investment plays IMO.
