20 of their games have been played against Arizona, San Diego, and Washington.

They have played a weak schedule, but they don't have Manny either. The pitching has been top-notch.

I follow them every day, every game.

The big question in my mind is how good will Manny be when he gets back? He will not have PED in his system. At his age of 35, he will not be able to recover as well as he used to.

He probably will be an above average player when he gets back, but not nearly the same as he was before he was busted.

Their #1 problem is their starting rotation. After Billingsly, it is all question marks. Kuroda might break down any time. If he doesn't, I like their chances a lot more. Wolf always runs out of gas the second half of the season. Kershaw is probably too yourng to have an impact late in the season.

If Kurodoa stays healthy, and Kershaw is able to contribute late in the season (both big ifs), then they have a chance to contend for the pennant.

Vs Teams that would be in the playoffs today they are 6-3... 2-1 @ PHI, 2-1 vs. PHI, and 2-1 @ TEX. Weaver vs. Weaver pitching matchup on SAT vs. LAA

Im pretty sure the Phillies split the series in LA... It opened up on a Thursday and Hamels pitched a gem.... The Dodgers took the next two games then on Sunday Night Baseball Bastardo got the win for the Phillies against Wolf.

You're right I blacked that horror show out of my mind, Hamels threw a CG SHO less than 100 pitches so they are 6-4 vs. Division Leaders as of today...

Yes they are as good as their record.

But Dodgers post season form is the questionmark.
