I take note of this every year around the AS Game--Who are the bad teams, and what will their fortunes (or lack there of) be the rest of the way?
Now is a good time to pay attention because what will turn out to be the aweful/way out of it teams are still cheap to play against, but will be enormous dogs late season. Not to say you dont still play against then, it just gets pricey when they decide to steal a late season game vs a 300 favorite.
PIT, KC and WAS are garbabe, and will stay that way, with PIT likely handed out antidepressants every noght before games. At least WAS is developing a little pitching, but for both play against no matter-short of getting trapped in a mini win streak. KC may be better someday soon, just not this year. Lay off Greinke, though he is coming back to earth. Bottom line is these teams cant score let alone catch a team late in the game. And as the season grinds on, they wont care until some kids are brought up. Lots of money to be made with these.
Next tier, ATL and WSX--almost first tier but you look at them and think they are better than they are. Theyre not. Bet against to lose many series.
Also be supect of AZ, SD. They are basically part of the above.
DET, CLE, and CINC so far break hearts===just keep an eye on the,
But if those two top tier bad teams are playing anyone better, then pounce on it for the series. LEvel bet all three/ four games against them. That will pay.
Later the faves against them will be pretty high priced, which is okay, just have to assume more risk then.
But take the cash thats out there now guys. Dont make this a hard game to play.
