My kids have been looking forward to this movie for over a year! The first Transformers movie was great even for adults.

This should be a good one too.

Of course the kids cant wait for Harry Potter either later this summer.

ditto. U checked out Public Enemies' webpage? Some nice stuff on there w/ all the character profiles.

1st transformers was semi decent. Can't stand lebouf or whatever his name is and megan fox = overrated, just above white trash w/ a toe thumb. That marylyn monroe tat on her arm? bitch please

Now I am not willing to bet on it, but I think that you may be wrong here.

The same crowd going to see Transformers will go see Harry Potter. However, you will also get an older crowd going to see Transformers as well. I will see both movies though

'UP' will be the summer's biggest blockbuster. It's only just behind Star Trek despite being open roughly half the time.

And no I have not seen it yet, but it's got fantastic reviews.

I did see UP, but it wont even be in the top 2 by the end of the summer.

Harry Potter and Transformers will DWARF the movie UP. Maybe twice as many viewers if that is possible

I will say this for Transformers, for the first time EVER my local cinema has Transformers on 3 theaters rather than 2 that some movies garner

I heard today that it just drags on & on to the point you're finally wondering when it is going to end.

I don't think they meant as in length of the film, but supposedly that the story line just drags on.......

Nope. G.I. JOE in August.

All the special effects in the trailer look great, but I bet the storyline sucks. May be the biggest bust of the summer. I'm sure huge costs were involved.

As an adult, I'm pretty sure I'll go see the Potter sequel and I for sure wouldn't burn time with Transformers.

Will be bumping this thread in early September to review the "predictions"

Well not that many adults will go see the Potter movie.

I am going tomorrow to see Transformers at noon along with my wife and 2 kids. So we are helping the 100 million. After that we will see some movie called Imagine That.
