Yesterday I lost 2 units... I lost to one of the worst teams in MLB history Washington Nationals with an all-time great pitcher... I lost in 14 innnings with a dodgers team that was up 4-0... I lost on a royals team that was winning... I pushed on a Royals/Under because Lance Berkman single handidily decided to try and make an over.

but 2 days ago the Yanks won me 2 units so I'm even... On to Friday.

Cincinatti Reds -105
KC Royals -131
NY Yankees -170
Detroit -125
Boston -120 ( 2 unit play)
Angels -147 ( 3 unit play)

( Notice I like AL teams in interleague play!!!)

Reds: I don't normally bet on NL teams in interleague play but the Red Legs are 7-8 when Harang Pitches, they give up an average of 3.7, his era is 3.65 with a 1.34 whip... I generally think Harang is a decent pitcher.

Sowers is 1-5 and the Reds are 1-6 when he throws, they give up 6 and a half runs on average when he throws, he has a 6 ERA, a 1.63 whip... The Indians have won 1 of their last 9 games and they have no closer and a horrible horrible bullpen.

I wanted to back cincy yesterday but I generlly don't like them. They don't hit lefties and Sowers is a lefty but he is a shitty lefty and there is a good price...

KC: The bet was at -126 when I tried to lock it in, but it moved to -131 by the time I helped Queeny do something. Trust me, I'll get it out of her tonight :)

I backed KC yesterday and I think Gil Menche is a decent starting pitcher, he might even be a little underrated. Virgil Vasquez not only has a queer name but he has not stats.

I'm not a fan of KC's offense but then again I don't like the Pirates offense either. I also think you have to consider AL pitchers ERA's would be lower if they were NL pitchers. Mench should be the better pitcher on the hill and both offenses suck.

Yanks: I don't know why I continue to play that over paid over priced BLIMP CC Sabathia, but I do here.

Detroit: Detroit is going for their 8th win in a row with their ace on the hill. Wandy has had some shakey outings. The V man has the same ERA and a better whip and he throws in the American league and has to face a DH instead of a pitcher. Better pitcher... hotter team... Tigers have at least a 66% chance of winning this game.

Boston: These guys dueled it out last week when I was in Vegas and I cashed in then and I will cash in now. Beckett threw a shut out last time and I don't respect many on the Braves offense. Jurgens is a good pitcher but he is plagued with only 4 runs on average of run support, that isn't going to help too much and the Braves are 7-8 with a losing record when he pitches despite him having a sub 3 ERA.

Beckett actually has a lower whip, a little higher ERA ( AL pitcher). The Red Sox give Beckett a run and a half extra run support and they have a 10-4 record when he throws.

He had little trouble with the Braves last time and the Red Sox come off an ass kicking when Atlanta lost a long game in front of a packed house yesterday. Look for the Bosox to bounce back with their ace on the hill.

Angels: I watched the game cast on the D-HAGS game last night and they used almost all of their pitchers last night, they even used Dan Haren to pinch hit. The team is spent and the Angels had the day off.

Arizona's offense is not shit.
The Angels have hitters.

Jared Weaver has a 2.44 ERA and 1.08 whip in the AL
Bill Buckner has a 7.15 ERA and a 1.64 whip throwing in the NL

The Angels are 7-3 in their last 10
The D-Fags are 3-7 in their last 10

On paper, there is no way the Angels should lose this game and the price is more than fair.

The angels have a winning record on the road and the D-Hacks are 10 games under .500 at home.

I think Wells is not bad, but I was reading something about the 4pm start and the sun in the left fielders eyes and Sorano isn't a great fielder anyway...

I generally like playing the AL teams but Contraras's era is considerably worse, the sox give up 6 runs per game... but has well pitched enough to verify that good ERA has has?

The Cubbies suck on the road (5-16 in their last 21) but how on the road are they?

The white sox are 3-10 in their last 13 friday games... I don't think their team is that great.

The sox are kind of hot, the chubs lost 4 in a row... I really am on the fence on that one.

Maybe the Under is the play, there are some good trends there??? I'm not touching anything on that one, I have a fat enough card.

I like betting on the Early games and then either spending the winnings or chasing but I just can't see this one.

I think the Angels tonight are a good play.

I don't think the Yanks are a very good price... I think the Angels is a very good price... Beckett should silence the weak Atlanta bats again...

I don't normally play the reds or royals, but they are as much of a fade on the teams they are playing too...
