Cardinals vs. Twins OVER 9 (+105)
I love playing the OVER in this one, as Minny starter Glen Perkins has been absolutely horrible, both in his last 3 starts and on the road all year long. I also like the fact that Wainwright has been pitching in a lot of OVERS here lately. His last 3 outings have all went OVER THE TOTAL. I see Pujols and company destroying Perkins, with the Twins putting up a few runs of their own against Wainwright. I have this line at 10.5, so I see value to the OVER.
D’Backs vs. Angels OVER 9.5
Buckner is terrible and should probably be in AAA for the Dbacks. The Angels bats have been HOT of late and I think they lay the wood to Buckner and the Dbacks here. I see the Angels getting at least 6 to 7 runs in this one, leaving the OVER as a given.
Rangers vs. Padres UNDER 10.5
Kevin Millwood has been lights out for Texas all year long, and I just don’t see SD putting more than a run or two at the most on him. SD’s offense is atrocious, and even the Rangers have struggled to score many runs of late. Both teams have combine to average only 7 runs per game over the last week so I think value lies with the UNDER here.
I also took the under in the early Sox Cubs game, but couldn’t post it in time. Its 2-2 right now in the fifth so hopefully we can win that one as Id love to start the day with a W.
