Mine was about 5 years ago, Pinnacle would offer a bet, it was will the Gavel Goat be burned before christmas if I remember right. There was a live web cam to watch this Huge Thing built out of straw and hay some were in Denmark. Well it lost because the year I bet it, no Burn.

my buddy made a bet like that when the yanks were up 3-0 on the bosox....i forgot exactly how much he bet but it was for a grand....i still bust his balls about it to this day

late 90's. I won about 3k in a week capping baseball fulltime (was laid off). Friday night rolled around and I didn't feel like capping. Saw that Maddux was pitching at home for ATL vs Tampa Bay. Unloaded the bankroll with zero capping laying -280 just to have some action while I was out at the bars. maddux got shelled like you've never seen. The game was a blow out by 4th inning. I didn't even get any drama for my 3k bet.
