Even though I started a new record as of June 29th, I am still going to keep my old record posted everyday. Sort of a before and after picture of my season.

I am making some changes. I am no longer going to play any favorites. Look at my record….take them away and I am plus for the season. The only time I will take favorites is like I do now when they are big and I parlay two of them together. You can generally with two big favs get at least even money on a two team parlay. I have had success doing that in the past and even though I am down 4.22 units this season, I still believe in them. I am not going to play any runlines either. It is hard enough sometimes just to win a game by one run, let alone 1.5 and to bet +1.5 you usually have to lay a ton of juice.

Well my new way of thinking is off to a horrible start going 0-3 and losing three units. And of course the game I wrote about (the white sox) who I liked but refused to play because they were a -105 favorite was a winner. I am going to make a slight adjustment to my new way of thinking. I will allow favs of -110 or less. I makes me sick missing out on a winner last night. Plus in football we all lay -110 all the time, so I will allow those from now on. My confidence is just completely shot right now. Lets try this again for Tuesday.

Parlay risking 1 unit to win 1.18

Yankees over Seattle
St Louis over San Fran

There is no explanation need for the Yankee pick and Carpenter has just been very solid since his return. He just has not been getting much run support while losing 2 of his last three starts, but has a AHW of only 6.2

Phillies +115 vs Atlanta………..Going against Lowe who has dominated the Phillies recently and that might come back to haunt me, but I have to stick with the Phillies who are simply a better team on the road this year and you get them as a dog. Worth a shot.

Colorado +154 vs Dodgers………….Hard to go against Billingsley at home, but even harder to go against one of the hottest teams in baseball as this big a dog. Rockies reminding me of that team a couple of years ago who went on that incredible run and knocked the Phillies out of the playoffs. Even though this one could lose, just too much value to take a pass on it.

That is all for Tuesday. I am so due for a good night. Hopefully tonight is the night.

Good Luck Everybody!
