I don't trust the line at all. Both pitchers have done quite well, however the giants' offense has been running smooth while the cardinals... well, aweful would be an understatement looking at the last week. I simply can't get my head around how the Giants are a +135 dog or whatever the line is.

I'm on them, but Cain is going to have to pitch better then he did his last outing. Best of luck.

I don't quite understand why they are +139?? Any insight OMT? Best of luck.

Because of Cain's last outing. He gave up 5 runs. The last few starts he has started slow, particularly the first inning not having command of his pitches except the fastball and has given up the long ball. If he gets command early, he gets tougher as the game goes on. That will be a key tonight. On the plus side, the Giant hitters have been on fire the last few games and putting up crooked numbers. If they can get to Wainwright, which they have earlier this year and get a lead, they could pull out the win. Reasonable take but it won't be easy tonight IMHO.

The line movement has nothing to do with Cain allowing 5 runs during his last outing. Immaterial data does that was readily known on the open and during the overnight does not move lines like this. This is simply a market putting more efficiency into a line that oddsmakers set too low.
