trying to find a reason to take the +money dog in the early game.......

the dbacks were shut out 1-0 by cueto in a hitters ball park on wednesday night, cueto been amazing lately and one of the best arms in the NL....what was the reds excuse?

They did only score 1 off punching bag john garland, the reds offense only got 2 the day before in the 6-2 win by arizona, im not convinced that even if harang has a quality start and holds the dbax to 3, that the reds can muster enough offense to win right now

harang is 5-8, and has the higher ERA between he and doug davis 3-8, and despite being shut out, the dbax have outscored the reds in this series.

the dbax are 16-17 on the road, and 14-26 at home........and the reds are basically .500 at home

Harang is 2-4 despite a 1.66 ERA in his career vs AZ......so his problem is one of run support, and the reds certainly arent hitting right now.

As it is, currently Harang is far from 1.66 ERA form, getting shelled 9-2 in his last outing vs Cleveland

Im gonna play the dog at +123
