Not in your mind but a legit large wager you've made. I remember betting $1,000 with a local and $2,000 online on a Monday night game years ago while in college, bet the Packers. I was using Sportsinteraction and betwwts at the time (loved wwts by the way).

It lost, that sucked. Had to get money off my credit card to pay the bookie (hell I used my credit card to fund online too). I think I was about 10K in debt that year from betting. CHASE!!!

I've had a couple other $2,000 wagers as well but nothing much larger than that. I'm not even sure what online books will allow you to bet, I don't think I've ever done more than $1,000 at a single book. Right now with how hard it is to fund, $500 on a single wager is about the most I do.

Anyway, pretty boring for me. Although I did have a $400 3 teamer with the Yankees RL, White Sox and Giants last night. FUCKING GIANTS! Would have netted me 10 to 1.

It was 2500 on a chase bet way back. It was NFL. I won it. It was a chase bet I made out of anger because my 500 bet on Colts was looking very bleak. They were down big to Houston late in the game. Funny thing is they made an insane come back and not only won, but covered. I ended up winning that bet and my chase bet.

I'll never forget that day because it's the most I ever bet and most I ever won. I'd never do that again but man was it ever a memorable day.

500 on the blue jays this year @ baltimore when halladay had a 7-2 lead and the bullpen blew it, then the jays took a 9-7 lead in extra innings and still lost 11-9.

hard to have a more brutal beat for my largest wager ever.

£500 is the biggest bet - but that was a shot to nothing as it was part of a Mansion NFL Promo a few years ago.

It was something along the lines of bet £500 (or $1000 USD) on a specific NFL game and if it loses then they refund the £500, if it wins then you got to keep the winnings with no rollover.

I am pretty sure I found out about it on the RX so a few of you will probably remember it...

2k on Giant's +points against NE in 2008 SB.

Have made several 1k bets and am probably around about 4-4 on those.

500 usually the max for me.

Not the largest bet ever, rather my first bet ever.

Broke my betting virginity week 1 of college football.

Did it with a 5 team parlay which I hit.

Florida -35 over Hawaii
USC -20.5 vs Virginia
Bowling Green +14.5 vs Pittsburgh
Utah +140 over Michigan
UCLA +250 over Tennessee

Put $20 paid $1148. Utah and UCLA (especially) both gave me heart attacks.

Been hooked ever since.

Not exactly sure if it was the biggest. In any event it was close to the biggest. Had 4K on the Redskins the Monday night game where Joe Theissman broke his leg. It ended up being a real see-saw shootout. The Skins scored with about 2 minutes to play to take the lead and were covering by a 1/2. The Giants were out of timeouts and it was 4th and 10. I really lost it when a Redskins DB picked off the 4th down pass and tried to needlessly run with it (he was begging to get hit and fumble it back to the Giants).

Approximately $2,300 on a Twins/Royals game. Don't ask, I was chasing losses.

14000 and change once on a thursday night football game back when sanders played for the lions. They played the vikings and I took the fav at home -455 or some shit (line was like -8 or 9) to make 3k. I won the bet but it was actually pretty close. I was chasing out like 3k or so and that bet pretty much got me even.

Bet a few 2 team parlays one that sticks out was raiders and broncos sunday night football. I believe raiders were the home dog, I took the raiders + like 2 or 3. I bet 3000 on the raiders, 3000 on the under (both had good defenses) and 3000 parlay (paid 7800 i believe). Needless to say cashed in 13800 on that game and again, I was out like 9 or 10k at the time. Was really chasing. I did I think 24 cartwheels that night!!!!

Anyways, them 2 were the biggest I remember, I wont forget them 2 until the day I die! Funny how we remember them.

BTW, I had offshore credit accounts, 2 of them. Had like 20k limits with one 5k max bet (to make 5k, not lay) and then a 30k limit with another. I was hooked up prety large back then.

I lost like 8 or 9k one week and paid it and called it quits and closed out both accounts. Now I bet like 200 mimimum up to 1000-1500 or so. No more big stuff for me...

$1,800. My normal bets were between $50 and $200.

I had been following U of Texas total all year (it was 2007) and they had been hitting the overs. Next game up was against Texas Tech with the total at 64.5.

Now Tech had been scoring all year just like Texas. I was pretty sure this would go over. Final score: Texas 59, Tech 43.
