let the guy go...he should be an everyday player. dude deserves a chance. anybody else agree? torre needs to put in a great recommendation to another team and let him go.

He's 31 years old. Sure he could still be a solid player elsewhere but it's not like he's being benched at the peak of his career.

It's not as simple as that. The problem isn't just "letting" him go.
The guy is owed 8 mill next year and 10 mill the year after that. Good luck getting any team in these economic times to take on that kind of salary.

If he's going to be moved anywhere the Dodgers would have pay a good portion of his salary. If they're going to be paying him anyway, they're better off using him as their 4th outfielder/guy off the bench who can lead off an inning and/or steal a base. They really don't have a decent 4th OF without him.

Yeah it sucks for him and he does deserve to play every day, but the situation dictates that he'll most likely have to stay with LA.
It's hard to feel sorry for a guy owed 18.5 mill over the next 2 years.

they had better keep him, in case manny can't produce testosterone, now that he is off the juice. 37 yrs old, he's going to go downhill fast.
