Ribs with dreamland bbq sauce. Gonna start soaking the ribs tonight in a bath of apple cider vinegar and pepsi (the pepsi makes the ribs so damn tender - can't imagine what it does to my insides when i drink it - can't be all too good).

I got a big grill so i'll light just one of the burners so they don't drip down onto an active fire and burn - and slow cook em. I'll put them on around 2pm and every 5 - 10 minutes i'll turn em - probably cooking til about 6pm - then 5 minutes before serving i'll sauce em up, put the flames on high and give em a nice char-broil.

And of course have a few dozen oysters with a few adult beverages while I'm grilling the ribs.

I'm going to Tijuana. I like to leave the country in protest of our government's policies even if it's only for a couple hours.

Betall, you always seem to have such a good time on these occasions.

I'm going to have to show up and pretend I'm somebody's cousin so I can grab a burger.

Betall, Dreamland is a bbq place that started a long time ago in Tuscaloosa Alabama that has since franchised to a couple of places around the southeast. The original place is a little shack about 3 miles from the University of Alabama campus that basically had one thing on their menus, a box of ribs with white bread and thats it.... The new franchise restaurants have expanded the menu.

This is the Dreamland website where you can order the famous sauce.
