Seems quite high for Volstad. He hasn't been able to get past 6 innings in game all season. His last three starts have been awful, albeit it was against tough lineups.

I know Morton has been bad this season but at +145 against a guy who cant get past 6, and then you face a bullpen that has injuries and no set closer. I'll take a shot.

I like your thinking. Seems like all the cappers are on Marlins tonight, not always a good thing..

Morton has an aggravated hamstring that has really only affected his duration. Not his pitching performance. My concerns here is Hanley ramirez hot as a 4 balled tomcat and the fact that Pitt's offense is hard to depend on despite uncharacteristically having more runs scored (346) than against (343) this season and being at the bottom of their division. Whats up with that? PLus they are a solid club at home and conversely as bad on the road. Just difficult to feel very secure laying money on the road with. I really like it myself...but these are probs I have. Volstad has been absolutely rocked his last several outings with exception to his very last.

I really want to find more on Pitt because I just do not like the marlins in this spot...but hard to lay money on it.

Looks like Volstad might need a trip to the DL to get his shit together. He was awful tonight.
