call me crazy but im on wang tomorrow. he has played "decent" last couple games and the yanks have been playing some great ball. Roy on the other hand isn't in his full groove yet and his stuff might get harassed tomorrow. value in both teams tomorrow imo. yanks small play for me

Not sure how anyone can handicap this game and derive a line with the Jays greater than -130. I would be suprised if this line does not close with at least a 10% decline in the Jays asking price.

I don't know if I will be on the Jays, but I have a rule to never bet against Halladay. I expect the guy to dominate every time he takes the mound, no matter who he's playing. And I have to agree with the OP, that line seems pretty low. I know the Yanks are a better team and they're playing at home, but that's a huge pitching mismatch in favor of the Jays. I also like that the Jays lost yesterday. If they had won the first game I wouldn't want to back them in game 2.

The way I see it Halladay is 21-7 vs Yanks lifetime... -300 for the price of -130...

Although under 1st 5 is worth a look.

Yanks 8-2 L10. Tor 4-6.

Wang awful early but L 4 starts 3,3,3,2 earned runs.

Tor Rd 17-21 NY H 24-15

Yanks offense 2nd in all of baseball runs scored, Tor 5th, 35 runs behind.

I don't think Tor -130 is too far off.....so I don't see it moving all that much. Boils down to Tor edge on mound vs NY edge offensively.

What happens to Halladay if a few fly balls that are outs elsewhere, leave the park? Hes a wily vet so much less apt to be affected.....but it used to happen in Col, pitchers get lit up, try to pitch too fine and end up in the shower early.

Good luck if you make the play. :toast: Might be a fun game to watch.

Under is the play.
Wang is a ground ball pitcher, Halladay keeps the Yankees bats at a mediocre .255 against, and .311 OBA against.
Can't see 8 or more runs scored in this game combined.

As expected, the market made it loud and clear that oddsmakers were wrong with the opening price on Holliday at -130. A 14% decline in price heading into the lineup cards.
