The guy has a great stick. Cinci need a bat like his in the lineup everyday. I'm sure he is very capable of catching a fly ball. If Ankiel can do it so can he.
His pitching skills are not so hot. He is not a 1,2 or 3 starter that is for sure. I think Cinci should look into this.

The guy has proven that he can hit. Every time he takes to the mound you're sweating bullets. Seems like an easy decision to me.
Besides that, he could always be brought in from the outfield for a relief inning in the middle of the game. His stuff is more suited for the pen anyway.
he's one of the few, like Zambrano, and Marquis, who actually get used as a pinch hitter at times....they are better than some of the lower rung utility guys the teams have..
