Here's the biggie: Home dogs went 5-0 (Road favs 0-5)
I think you'll find that most people who win at this game over the long run are predominantly dog players (although there are a couple of guys here who manage to find the valuable favorites. MJ and Number Freak come to mind). Yet I see threads night after night here where someone is asking for the best "late games" play and invariably guys come in with favorites as being the best play.
The "best play" should be defined by value. Dogs are usually where the value lies, not favorites.
