Either the sum is greater than the parts or some of your assessments are off. Or a little of both, maybe.

Michael Young is only good when bases are empty; he hits singles with 2 outs like no other!

With runners in scoring position though, this year he's averaging a .140 percentage.

After watching tonights game and hearing the announcers pretty much dog half their guys and insinuate (sp?) the decline in numbers due to steroids (and Im pretty sure they were talking about some of the guys on the Rangers) I see why they cant score runs. They have 1 guy who is a true table setter but he's in a 0-20 slump. The rest of the lineup 2-9 has the greenlight to hit for the moon and they either hit an extra base hit or flyout.
