ive lost enough money this yeartrying to belive that santana was healthy enough to pitch.....witha healthy hamilton in for rangers, and no vladdy (he does more by scaring pitchers than actually producing)....ill take the rangers at +127 in what i feel is a coin flip game...

padilla 4 run era, santana 7 run era.....

I agree Zeke. I'm pulling for the Halos, but have absolutely zero confidence in Santana right now. He has been horrific on the mound. Over is the bet of the day...

Rangers won for me last night at a nice price Rangers can put up a crooked number in any inning.

Ervin Santana has show positively nothing to convince, especially not versus the Rangers, against whom he has a dreadful track record (6.46 career ERA).

Even if you narrow those games against Texas to those played at Angel Stadium, sure, he has four quality starts in five tries, but he also was hammered for eight runs on 10 hits, two of them home runs, in 5 2/3 innings as recently as Sept. 27, 2008 (when he was a heck of a lot healthier than he is today).

The Mariners, Orioles and White Sox all have handled him in his home starts in his past three turns there, and this is a loaded lineup.

I don't know if this makes you feel any better but it might...and it goes to show you anyone can spin a game @)

Angels who have been hot as of late lost last night now let's see if this team can bounce back against Vincente Padilla who was originally questionable with a shoulder injury but now has been announced to start. I love going against players who have an injury but are making a start against a team that has hit them hard. Angels have a .328 average against Padilla and they have 10H in each time they have seen Padilla this year each time in Texas.

Padilla won't have to worry about Guererro on Wednesday as he is out of the lineup and might go on the DL. However, the Angels faced Padillas without Guererro already this year and still managed 10H and still have a .310 average against. Padilla will also have a night start where he has a 6.38ERA compared to his day ERA of 3.07. Tonight he makes a start in LA where he owns a 5.98ERA in his last 4 starts here. The Angels with a .352 average and are scoring 9.40 R/9 in their last 5 games vs. RHP.

Ervin Santanna will make his second start off the DL and I think he'll make some progress here. He has struggled against the Rangers before but mainly on the road. @ home against the Rangers he has a 1.80ERA in 2 of his 3 starts at home here.

padilla got roughed up by the Angels in his last start which happened to be against the angels a few weeks back, after that game he missed a start due to his shoulder

Santana always has been a better pitcher at home at night and is pitching on his regularly scheduled start here

Padilla got hurt after giving up 10 hits in 5 innings and allowing 5 runs vs. The Angels

Santana not lock to have a good outing, in 2 outing last year vs. the Rangers he gave up 8 runs in september and only 1 in august

3rd and deciding game of the series to div rival with tomorow off while Rangers travel north to Seattle

I like it Redskins but im an Angel fan

well it isnt over, but 1 thing is certain...santana isnt healthy, or he simply isnt right....funny thing is they sent sean osullivan up and down from minors 2 times since he pitched and won his first game........they got enough guys between him and a very average matt palmer than can pitch better than santana right now
