For anyone who runs a business, website, or anything for that matter, twitter is an amazing tool if used properly. I twitter as my catering business and you would not believe the connections I have made just from twitter alone. Big jobs, radio interviews, magazine articles, all because I took the time to twitter some stuff people found useful and they clicked through to my website.

It's all about whatever you're interested in and following the right people. Since I'm in Vancouver and my business is food, simply searching "Vancouver food" will pull up useful contacts tweeting about my subject.

Say you live in St. Louis and want info on the Cards, you can search and follow useful people to get key updates, maybe even from inside the organization or from someone in the media twittering info from their cell phone from the locker room.

Are you saying this info wouldn't be useful at all? Very powerful tool.

He's not on TV, but my favorite chef and in my opinion the best living chef on the face of the earth is Thomas Keller of the French Laundry in Napa Valley, California.

His restaurant is consistently voted amongst the top in the world, and his food is unbelievably smart, beautiful and of course delicious. I think what I like best about him though is unlike most of these arrogant chefs you see on TV, he is so humble and modest.

Where's a good place to eat in Vancouver? I'm thinking about going to dinner with Coaster next week.

All twitter is, is a status bar. There are a million other social networking sites that offer much more. Its gay a waste of time and is for people with no friends. I also hate when ESPN brings it up every other word.
