Sorry to hear that. I would never "unload" on anything.
I play every $$$ play the same amount ($500/5 units).
- This year, I am 25-10 +70.8 units
I sometimes play a couple medium plays ($100-$200).
I also play (but never post) my small plays ($50)
... but I never unload more than I am willing to lose.

Well, the stars were in alignment - or so I thought - hot rookie pitcher and Giants playing decent ball. Just underestimated the power of Florida's bats and the Giants' ability to forget how to hit a ball at inconvenient times.
Funny, the last time I unloaded on a play like that was Cleveland's Cliff Lee last year - an awesome pitcher (last year) - he lost the game, and I never bet heavy on him again, even though he proceeded to win the next 12 games.
My plays are typically $200, but for reasons I won't get into here I decided to play $900 on the game last night.
At least the Sox came through, taking some of the burn away.
I feel your pain. It was disgusting to watch. I thought the rookie pitcher who was hot (and at home) going against a horrible pitcher for the Marlins (on the road).
Usually those are my favorite games to bet.
My betting usually comes on looking at the pitcher who is hot and who is not (plus home/road schedules and how the pitchers do on the road/home).
The Giants game fit perfect in this system.
Oh well, you win some, you lose some. Just move on and stay focused.
