I have been following this system closely the past couple of weeks. So far, during the trial run the system has gone 9-4. Will start tracking today for a trial run up until the all-star break, then I will keep a year-long record on this thread. The system is as follows.

System component #1: Starting Pitcher must have an ERA of 4.50 or higher prior to his next start.

System component #2: Starting Pitcher's last outing was a quality start (6+ IP, 3 or less EARNED runs)

System component #3: Starting Pitcher's team must be on the road.

If all 3 components are present, we play the runline for the home team. I wager on Bodog, so if the home team is not the favorite they offer the alternative runline, not sure how many books do this but this will be the play. I will also be observing whether the -2.5 line hits along with these...to see if this provides an even better opportunity with this system.

ok so the trial goes 2-4...i am going to tweak the system a little bit-----if a pitcher gives up 3 runs or less in 6 innings i will consider it eligible in this system...earned runs are not a factor. so if a pitcher gives up 4 runs (3 earned) in 6 innings it is NOT considered a play. each play will be for one unit @ $50.

If you don't mind me asking what are you basing your picks off of?

System component #1: Starting Pitcher must have an ERA of 4.50 or higher prior to his next start.

System component #2: Starting Pitcher's last outing was a quality start (6+ IP, 3 or less EARNED runs)

System component #3: Starting Pitcher's team must be on the road.

today as an example...david price and jonathan sanchez both have ERA's over 4.5 while throwing a quality start in their previous outing. since both are on the road for their next start, we play the home team to win by the runline.
