STL: Carpenter (6-3, 2.32) -125
CHC: Harden (5-5, 5.35) +115

I'm leaning with STL. Cubs cant to seem to hit anything lately.

I have to jump on the Cubbies here at home as an underdog. I like my chances + on the ML...

I like the cards today. Carpenter bounce back today. I think the Cubs are heading in the wrong direction. Good luck!

I went with the Cubbies. I believe Carpenter will be on his game, but Harden will as well. Probably looking at late inning Cubs win.

Chris Carpenter has been his usual dominant self this year with a 2.32 ERA and he has allowed more than 3 ER just once all year in his 12 starts. He has been even better in the daytime with a 1.23 ERA and 3-1 record. In his last 4 starts against the Cubs he has allowed only 5 total ER in 26.1 IP for a 1.71 ERA. Rich Harden meanwhile has a 5.35 ERA this year and he has been even worse at home(7.65 ERA in 37.2 IP) and in the daytime(7.41 ERA in 37.2 IP) and has a 10.17 ERA at Wrigley Field in day games. St Louis is averaging 6.1 runs/game on the road in day games against righthanded starters.
