Questions on the SPORTSOPTIONS main odds page

SPORTSOPTIONS you have a column called Public

then you list a percentage.

Would you describe in detail how that public % number is generated, or where you lift that from?....as much detal as possible., also how often is it updated and at what threshold of action does it turn on to start?

Try...I'll let RickA give the Detail's......

But I do know that it's a Combo of a number of Books. I find it to be a Very good tool to use.

But like I said, I'm sure RickA can give you more Detail's. :103631605

TTT,

The info comes from multiple books, but they have all asked us not to disclose who they are. I can tell you that most of the books we get the info from would be considered very 'square' books.

The numbers are a % of plays, not money.

There is no threshold for the numbers to go on the screen, so as soon as a book takes a play, the number would be 100%. We really do not have any control over that because we are getting the % from the books, not the actual number of plays. The info is updated every couple of minutes.

so its an average of a few books? like you get some info fomr a few books, average that up and it gets listed in that column? or is it really just one book at a time, or a few different books depending on what sport? thanks much..

I have to say Im a new user today and this is most interesting.

since Im new tot he product..is there a few "For Dummies" hints , uses and features that you would like to share.

I actually do not like anything popping up an my screen in a new screen, I turned off the line move pop up, but there seems to be a critical news pop up box that just popped up, how do I turn off that feature, then turn it on when I really want it?

To turn off the Critical Notice popup messages:

From the menu click on 'Setup' and then select 'Sounds and Alerts'.
On the Sounds and Alerts setup, click the Critical Notices tab.
If you want to turn off messages for all sports, make sure you select 'All Sports'. If not, select the sport your want to turn off.
Uncheck the 'Display Critical Notice popup alert' option. If you don't want to hear the audio alert either, uncheck the 'Play Critical Notice audio alert' options as well.
Click 'Save'.

To turn off other types of messages (Finals, Lineups, etc), select the tab for the type of message and follow the same steps.

You can change the settings for individual sports by selecting the sport and then making your changes.

I have to say Im a new user today and this is most interesting.

It is the average of multiple books. We average the %s, so if one book sends us 10% and another sends 30%, we would display 20%.
