The American League has been dominating the MLB All Star odds more than a decade now. It’s time for some change.

It’s been 11 years since the National League has even won an All Star game but there is plenty of reason to like the National League this year.

The National League has Chad Billingsley, Johan Santana, Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain, Dan Haren and Josh Johnson. The American League does have a good roster of starting pitching but Roy Halladay may not be fully healthy and Josh Beckett isn’t what he used to be.

As far as home field advantage goes, obviously the National League should have the edge with the game being played in an NL park. The game will be played at Busch Stadium, which will be the first All Star game of the new Busch Stadium.
