As did Jason Kidd, Hill used the Knicks for leverage. Once Hill was armed with New York’s offer, he was able to get Sarver and Kerr to increase Phoenix’s bid.

I never figured Hill as a guy to play politics.

I guess winning a title is just some perk similar to a pizza party when your employer has a good month.

Personally, I don't think he cares about winning a ring as role or bench player. Weather in PHX is nice, who the fuck wants so and a ring? Grant surely doesn't.

To me if you don't win a title, then that season is a complete failure. You don't interview for a job to finish 2nd and not get the job.

Moronic would be basically playing for free in Boston. Rings don't pay the mortgage and I'm pretty sure he has a few of those.
